Aug. 12th, 2002 09:50 amOi. Lots of stuff happening this weekend. I'm kinda glad it's all over, even though I had fun. But I'm tired now.
Anyway, I worked in the morning yesterday, which was ok. Except one girl came in who was kind of a jerk. I mean, some lady was putting her clothes into all three triple loaders - which is fine, since she had a lot of clothing. But this girl comes in and asks if she can use one. The lady says no, I need them all. She's nice about it, but you know, the laundry needs to be done, right? Well, the girl basically tells her straight out to f**k off, and then comes to me and says "I need one of the triple loaders, and this woman is using them all." I was thinking 'Well, what do you want me to do about it?' She expected me to move the other lady's clothing so that she could put hers in instead. Then she says, "I don't mean to sound harsh, but if I can't use one of the triple loaders right now, I'm going to a different laundromat."
Okay. One, the lady using the triple loaders was there first. Too bad. Just she's got more to do than you doesn't give you the right to kick her off the machines. Two, the place where I work owns all the other laundromats. It doesn't matter if you go to another one - we're still making money. And I wouldn't care anyway.
Bleh. People.
Well... after work, I went over to the house that Sarah is house-sitting. Johanna and Venessa were along as well, and we were basically just watching movies and eating more pizza. (I need exercise to knock off all the weight I put on this weekend) I got to open my presents from them, which was neat.
Johanna's was a poster with a wolf (I love wolves) and a framed picture of her and me standing together at Grad that I had been trying to get a copy of. It was a great gift! And Sarah made me a wall hanger with a dragon on it... sweet! I loved it! Venessa actually burned me the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, which I've been too lazy to download, and got me some little assorted things that were cute and fun. Plus chocolate. Which is always good.
Then we watched the Digimon Movie, and Lord of the Rings (again). Sarah's friend Adam came over about halfway through, and he actually talked with us. Would you believe that he's a yaoi fan? I was kind of amazed, but it was a good thing to find out. What a nice guy!
Anyway, it was a great night all around.
But now I'm tired and just want to lounge around and do nothing - which I *can* do, since I don't work today at all.
Excellent.
