Aug. 19th, 2002 09:34 amWell, work is done for another two days. Yay! Celebration time! Woo hoo! Hopefully I can write... but I say that every time. Still, you never know. Maybe I will actually get something done this time.
And maybe I'll just sit on my lazy butt and watch anime. That seems more likely.
Speaking of which...
I watched episode 16 of X on Saturday. My opinion: sweet! I loved this episode! It was so sad... Of course I already knew what was going to happen, but still. Knowing about it and actually seeing it are two different things. At least they did give us a flashback and let us see Subaru lose his eye. And then he fought with Seishirou... now *that* was an emotionally charged battle. Wow. And the end of it... yeah. Wow again. It was great! This was an awesome episode! Two thumbs up!
Oh! And I forgot to mention this, but I watched a live action movie called 'All Over the Guy'... excellent! Holy crap, I loved that! It was so funny and angsty and gorgeously sweet! The movie's about two guys who are set up by their friends, and hate each other right at first but start warming up to each other as the movie progresses. They have a sort of rocky relationship, but it is totally a good story. This movie is worth renting - if you can get your hands on it at all, do so!
Saw my friends last night. We did nothing, as usual, since no one could think of anything to do, as usual. And it basically turned into an endless series of 'So what are we doing?'s, as usual.
How exciting.
And I think that's all. I'm sleepy. Time to go eat and then relax and get back to re-reading the Belgariad series by David Eddings. (he is the greatest author ever, and that series rocks!)
