(no subject)

Well, I got called in to work last night, but it wasn't too bad. I was tired and not at all happy about being there, but things went okay. Tanya came in a bit later that night, and was going to leave her clothes in the dryer (since she works the next morning) to pick up later. She was planning to go to the gym, but it turned out they were closing in five minutes, so she came back to pick up her clothes instead. I gave her a ride home since it's dark and I had my parents' car. She mopped for me in return. Yay! No mopping!

Anyway...

I went to buy a discman yesterday. What a hassle! I picked out one that seemed good, but the little remote thingy that came with it didn't work! The remote was the reason I wanted that particular one. So I took it back inside right away, and they said I had to get a new one. I didn't have time, because Venessa had to meet her mother at two and it was one-thirty. Plus, I work at three, so I had to go home and get ready anyway - and we had to walk.

I was mad. V distracted me by idley musing out loud 'What would the Weiss guys do if this happened to them?' I felt much, much better after discussing that for a time. Naturally. Any time you want me to feel better, mention something comedic to do with an anime I happen to like.

I went back after work to get a new one, and guess what? The new one didn't work either. The store clerk told me that the brand I picked out was kinda crappy, so he recommended a different one. The new one works very well. I am satisfied.

I forgot to mention that I watched the fifth Digimon movie. It was okay, considering it was season 3. I'm not a huge fan of that season. I do think Ruki is very cool, but unfortunately, she wasn't cool enough to save the season. The movie wasn't too bad, though. Save the world! And Omegamon had an appearance. Makes me think of Yamato and Taichi... mmm... Yama and Tai...
