... That's just not as satisfying, is it?
Yeah, anyway, ebay is evil, and I should never be allowed anywhere near it. I always seem to want to bid on things, and win, and then I spend money when I really shouldn't.
Argh.
Anyway, I've bid on Ken and Omi desktop dolls. I don't even really know what desktop dolls are, but I *want* them! It's Ken and Omi! And I'm willing to spend more money on them than I really should.
This song now officially makes me think of Apocripha/0. I could say I have no idea why, but I think it's probably because lately I've had it on repeat while I'm chatting, and my winamp window is up so I can stare at my manga Alex skin while I'm listening to it.
Oh well. There are worse songs out there.
I had another conversation with V about the Weiss guys that I found interesting last night. The dance remix of Corey Hart's 'Sunglasses at Night' was playing on the radio, and I made a comment that it really sounded like Youji's theme song. Then we started trying to come up with what song each of the guys would listen to before a mission to get ready. Sorta like battle music.
Aya - Krytonite (something angry)
Youji - Sunglasses at Night (it's just him)
Ken - something sporty (pick a song)
Omi - he would find the idea of battle music absurd. He'd pick something completely ridiculous just to illustrate this. I'm thinking something like 'How Could I Fall in Love with You?' by the Backstreet Boys. No one would understand why.
I really need to write a fic with some of this stuff. Aya's secret closet, Youji's display case of sunglasses, Omi's stash of baseball caps and shorts, and Ken's oblivious-ness to it all. Poor Ken. Then again, he gets to wander around in a towel because there's no clean laundry. Also Youji and Ken's obsession with making bets with each other... it will one day ruin the both of them. But Aya and Omi will be there to make sure they're still okay.
Hehe... okay, I'm going to go work on the Omi coming to terms with his sexuality one. Maybe one day I'll even finish it.
That'd be pretty cool.
