Oct. 31st, 2002 01:48 pmI love reading people's rants. One of my LJ friends had a link to somebody's rant that Weiss aren't gay - or, at least, not with each other. That was interesting to read, because I remember way back at the beginning of my obsession when I felt that way as well. Ah, memories.
But... I still think that all four members of Weiss are gay or bisexual. And screwing each other blind. Do I have proof? Naturally not. Unless it's a shounen-ai or yaoi anime, there's no definite proof. But then again, we don't have definite proof that Quatre and Trowa are an item, either. What makes Weiss any more or less plausible? Or any yaoi pairing in a non-yaoi anime?
In my mind, they hook up with each other. What you do with the Weiss in your mind is your business. I'll be content with watching pretty boys fool around, and you can be content with... whatever it is your pretty boys do. But it's a lot less fun that way, I think.
Ah well... I still remember when I thought I could watch Weiss without thinking yaoi thoughts. What a foolish innocent I was. I remember pointing out reasons why Youji wasn't gay. But, I have seen the error of my ways. It's much more interesting to point out reasons why he *could* be gay - or, more specifically, fooling around with Aya. I asked the question, "Why are they gay?" and came up with the answer in the form of a more compelling question: "Why not?"

I'm into Yami no Matsuei at the minute too... 'specially after watching those music videos from Yaoi Con. I really wish I could've gone to that, but it was all the way over in San Francisco.
Anyway, being in a Yami no Matsuei mood seems appropriate for halloween.
