That movie was sooooooooooooo good! GAH! I absolutely, positively LOVED it! Geez, it was ten times better than the first movie! I couldn't get enough of it! Wow!

The second book was my favorite of the HP books in the first place, so I had big hopes for this movie. And it met them! Ooh, that was awesome! A lot of stuff got left out, but it was still almost three hours long. And I didn't glance at my watch once. Mmm, excellent! It seemed shorter than it really was.

The basilisk scene at the end was REALY good. Much better than the ending to the first movie. And the spiders totally freaked me out. I'm afraid of spiders in the first place, and that was WAY too much for me. I was creeped out just sitting there watching it. The movie downplayed Ginny's crush on Harry, too, which I was a little disappointed to see. I was really looking forward to the valentine scene. That was hilarious in the book.

Ah well, can't have everything.

At least we got to see Snape knock Lockhart down in the duel. Hehe. And Harry and Draco's little mini duel was pretty good, too.

The spider scene was a little TOO well done. I would never have been able to go into the woods after a bunch of spiders. Ick. And actually, I was a lot more impressed with Ron than with Harry at that point, because I know how freaked out I would be. Harry's not afraid of spiders, so it wasn't a big deal to follow them, but Ron *was*, and he went along anyway. I'd read it in the book, but the movie just made it much more impressive. That guy is a *really* good friend; Harry's lucky to have him.

At this point I pause to shove down my best-friends-into-more-than-friends instinct. I told myself I'd never get into HP slash! Must... resist...

Okay. I'm all right now.

In a show of blatant favoritism at the end, Hermione hugs Harry and then awkwardly *shakes hands* with Ron. But, I guess those two didn't get off to a brilliant start, so... maybe that's it.

I love the three main characters. JK Rowling is saying that there will be more deaths in the books following - I hope it won't be any of those three. I don't want them to die!

I really can't wait for the fifth book now.
