Well, episodes two and three of Mirage of Blaze finally downloaded. That anime is insanely cool! The feel of it makes me think of Yami no Matsuei, even though they are fairly different. It's creepy cool. I love it!

Anyway, I now have episodes one through six, so I can get watching some of those. I've watched episodes one and two already, and it looks like a pretty bad situation for the good dudes. Oh well, they'll pull through somehow. I wish I could get my hands on the rest of the episodes, but I can't find them on KaZaA. But... one day.

I also have episodes one and two of Hack//Sign. I figure I'll watch the first episode, and if it looks good, then I'll start downloading the rest. It sounds really cool, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I have episodes one through five of Scryed, which I should watch one day. And the first four episodes of Cowboy Bebop. And a whole crapload of Digimon Frontier episodes. But I'll get around to those. Right now... Mirage of Blaze, the last few of Card Captor Sakura, and Hack//Sign.

I need to work on my Christmas fic, too. It's cutting things a little too close, leaving it this long. Geez... I think I'll have Youji get Aya a CD player for his car. Then he can listen to whatever it is Aya likes to listen to while driving. Aya doesn't strike me as the type who'd enjoy listening to the radio.

And of course... Ken's gift to Omi, which I can thank Lady Cosmos for. That's going to be the sweetest part of the fic. In my opinion, anyway. Aya and Youji get a moment too, but I think Ken and Omi's will be better.

Actually, the best part of the fic is going to be Ken trying to explain to Omi over the phone why he and Youji are currently in police custody. Overconfidence. It'll get you every time.

Hehe.

I just got a call from Jen after I did that nice happy update for today. Apparently the ministry came and took her friend Tara's little baby girl Deanna away from her today. They weren't supposed to come until Monday, so I guess Tara thought that she'd have some time with Deanna.

Goddamnit...

I don't know what to feel about this. On one hand, Tara didn't seem like a very good mother... especially not with the pot, and letting Rocco (yeah, I don't know how to spell his name) live with them even though he had a court order forbidding him from being around Deanna. But on the other hand, she's losing her daughter. And who am I to judge? She's the baby's *mother*. She was probably doing her best. I don't even know Tara that well.

Is this fair? Maybe, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it.
