Dec. 21st, 2002 11:47 amI saw Lord of the Rings again last night! It is so awesome! I absolutely adore that movie! Hehe... It needed more Merry and Pippin, that's what it needed. The parts with those two were great. Heck, it needed more of everyone. It needed another whole movie. How long until the next one?
A year is just too long to wait.
I'm in a major Ken/Omi mood right now, especially after reading a new part of Riisha's fanfic, and having the little desktop dolls on the table beside me. I am also still majorly into Dragonlance novels at the moment. I really, *really* want to do that fantasy AU right now. And I definitely want Omi's power to have something to do with dragons. The fic will need dragons.
Maybe I'll plan that out today. But first, I need to work on the Christmas fic. I promised myself I'd do that this morning before I go to work.
Tomorrow Megan comes home, and I'm taking my sisters to see Lord of the Rings! Ooh, I can't wait! They're going to love it! Who could not love it?
I also exchanged gifts with Jeremy last night. I got him an NFL hat for "his" team, and a Two Towers action figure set with Pippin and Ugluk. He got me that 'Dragon Chronicles' novel I have been dying to get my hands on, and - get this - drew me a full-color picture on some really nice hard artist-type paper of the four Weiss boys. It obviously took him a really, really long time - he said 15 or 16 hours - to draw. I was impressed! I was actually more than impressed. It was a really thoughtful gift. It's going up on my wall today.
So, all in all, it was a good night.
And now I'm off to try and work on the Christmas fic. Which still needs a title, but I'm going to try and finish it before I think about that.
