Mar. 21st, 2004 09:16 amSome very nice person sent me some character mp3s from Hikaru no Go yesterday. Yay! Never a bad thing.
So I went to the anime club in Kamloops. I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. As it turns out, the president is a big Sailor Moon fan, so he has pretty much every DVD there is, in Japanese with either fansubs or wackysubs. Even the musicals and some of the live action series. He also had a bunch that I was familiar with, like Get Backers, Gravitation, Fake, Ranma 1/2, Dragonball Z, and Inu Yasha. There were a ton of others, too... It was kind of amazing.
We did some chatting and some people drew, and we were trying to organize this little mini-magazine that the club is going to be putting together. Then we watched a few episodes - mostly with subtites.
So yeah, it was fun. I'll be going back, and taking some of my stuff with me. No one's seen Yami no Matsuei, Weiss Kreuz, Hikaru no Go, or D.N.Angel! Geez...
Also, V and I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - the Jim Carrey movie. It was actually pretty good, a little weird but definitely interesting.
And today is my sisters' birthday. They were out until five last night, though, so I may or may not get the chance to go out for lunch with them before I have to work.
We'll see, I guess.
