Jun. 14th, 2004 09:23 amSo I worked last night, and that was not much fun. I had one person who locked the bathroom key in the bathroom, one person who yelled and swore at me because he didn't want to pay for his dry-cleaning and I wouldn't let him take his jacket without paying, and then a customer who wanted to pay for his entire order with a bunch of gift certificates and argued that it didn't say anywhere on them that he could only use one per order.
Bah. Well... Other than that, it wasn't terrible. I was a bit late finishing, though.
Eh, it happens, I guess.
So I finished Waya's scene yesterday... I feel bad now. Next scene: hospital. And Hikaru's pretty much in shock. Actually, Akira was the only one with presence of mind to call up an ambulance.
Akira is going to start off slow, but he does a hell of a lot of good in this fic.
Also, I went over to Adam's house after I got home last night, and we played Cranium until Jen (Adam's friend Jen) had to be walked to the bus station, since she lives out of town and was only in for her graduation ceremony. Jo was totally awake, though, and that was excellent. It was nice to be able to hang out with her when she wasn't ready to fall asleep. Hopefully that'll happen more often.
I'm hoping to get my next Monday shift switched for Wednesday, so I don't have to work four days in a row.
Hoping. We'll see.
