Jul. 2nd, 2004 09:41 amWell, yesterday was awesome! We didn't get to see the gung fu, but it's always fun hanging out at the park on Canada Day... there's generally a lot to do and see.
The river was very cold, though - and even though it was really hot out, it seemed like it cooled down every time we went to swim. Sheesh.
Ah well.
V also found a ring that fits - that was good, too. It's a really nice ring, too. Excellent. And the fireworks were actually pretty good this year - of course, I haven't seen a really good fireworks show in a while, so the only thing I have to compare it to at the present are the fireworks from last year. And these were a *lot* better.
In any case, it was a very nice Canada Day.
And today... work. Bleh.
