I got called in to work yesteray - not at the usual store, but at the downtown one. That meant I was there from 2:30 to 7:30. I didn't mind, though... Actually, the girl who was supposed to work that shift called in at noon and said she quit and wasn't coming in. Which is mean.
So I felt good about working, seeing as how I was saving the other lady from being stuck there for more than twelve hours straight.
Other than that, not much happened yesterday. I am done with part one of the new original story, which is coming along well. I hope this one works out, because I want it to say something. Even though it's not long. Hopefully.
Six parts left to write, assuming all goes according to plan.
I do still want to work on Game Over - I know that for sure. I'm having a major dry spell as far as that story is concerned, and it was driving me nuts. I really need this new story to take my mind off that.
My schoolwork is being avoided, and will end up being half-assed. I couldn't care less at this point, though, seeing as how it's probably worth about 0.05% of my grade. If that.
