Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As of today, August 9th, 2002, I am twenty years old. I have left my teen years behind me forever! And in fact, I will never be this young again.
Um... that last bit didn't fit with the rest.
Oh well.
I gave my site a new look for the occassion. http://kelstavern.topcities.com - check it out. It'll only be there for today, so take a nice long look and fix it in your memory.
Ah, whatever.
Anyway, I watched Angelic Layer episode 20 yesterday. My opinion: good! Ooh, the plot thickens. Does Icchan have a thing for Misaki's mother? Hmm... And poor Kotarou is jealous of Ojirou, who got to be Misaki's second for the episode. That in itself made the episode really good. Ojirou! Yay! Just for that, I'm going to have to give it two thumbs up!
I'm in such a good mood! I am twenty years old today! Woo hoo!
Last night, I stayed out until midnight. V was with me, and we went back to the elementary school we'd both gone to. We were sitting on the playground in the dark and talking about when we were little and went to school there. It was the greatest way to bring in my birthday hour that I could've thought of. Sarah and Johanna went to a party - I'm really glad I didn't go with them. I liked that much better, being with a close friend and quietly waiting for my birthday to arrive. She sang 'Happy Birthday' to me when my watch beeped 12:00, too.
It was perfect.
I'll probably remember it forever. Ah, memories.
Anyway, so far this birthday has been the best. I woke up and left my room to find myself surrounded by balloons. I'm so glad my family didn't disregard the day like they did last year. (granted, they'd just found out one of my sisters was becoming belimic (sp?) and my mom had walked in on her and her boyfriend doing the dirty, but I'm selfish like that)
I got a fic from Dana in my mailbox. Daisuke and Ken. I adore those two together, they are so cute! And the story was just the sweetest thing! That and Lady Cosmos's story are both going up on my site as soon as I stop being lazy and code them into HTML.
So today's a great day. No question.
Tonight we're going out for dinner (just 'cause I can get a free meal) at Boston Pizza. Mmm... pizza... I have a craving for pizza. Which is a good thing, since that's what I'll be eating tonight. And then we're all coming back here and watching Lord of the Rings - the best movie EVER!
Today's going to be great. I know it.
And I'm listening to high energy music! YEAH! The world is mine today!
