Aug. 10th, 2002 09:41 amI had the best birthday yesterday! It was such a good day... Wow! I can hardly believe it...
Anyway, first of all I finally finished downloading that episode of X I've been trying to get for the past month or so. Since that was such a success, I decided to just start up all the remaining episodes of Angelic Layer, which were 24, 25, and 26. Episode 23 was already downloading, and doing pretty well. Episodes 25 and 26 downloaded in less than two hours! Holy crap! And then 23 finished, so now the only episode of Angelic Layer that I'm missing is 24. Excellent!
And X is clipping right along, too... I have up to episode 15 now, and I still need to watch 13.
Speaking of which...
I watched episode 12 of X yesterday. My opinion: frickin' awesome! Stuff actually started happening! Thank god! Oh geez... I finally saw Fuuma go all 'I'm your Gemeni'! Ooh, creepy! And Kotori went unconscious and met her inevitable end. It's about time, that's all I've got to say! She's kind of annoying... You know who I love, even though he was only in the episode for about ten seconds? SUBARU! He's so cool! Gotta love him. Just that scene when Sorata was going to try and go toward Kamui, and Subaru held up one arm to stop him... god damn, that man is awesome! Hehe... Anyway, that episode gets two thumbs up, for sure!
I can't wait for more.
And also, episode 21 of Angelic Layer. My opinion: good! I think I've finally got down who's got a thing for who. Kotarou likes Misaki. Tamayo likes Kotarou. Ojirou likes Misaki. Misaki likes... who knows. Okay, maybe I haven't got it *totally* down. It's confusing, all right? But it was fun to see them hanging out at the beach. And Hikaru even got a miniature copy of Misaki's bathing suit. How cute! A thumbs up for this one, as if there was any doubt.
Anyway, after I watched anime, we went out for pizza. It was fun to see Jen again - it's been a while. Then we had cake, which was yummy. Johanna had to go home, but V stayed and watched Lord of the Rings with me.
Oh... and before we went out for dinner, Jeremy called to wish me happy birthday. I thought he forgot...
Wait a minute... I haven't mentioned Jeremy yet, have I? He's this guy I'm friends with who wants to date me. I'm not up to dating right now, so I told him that, but he still wants to go out with me all the same. So we hang out sometimes. I like the guy, I'm just not into the whole committment thing. And I'm not up for a lot of the physical stuff that goes with dating. Bleh. Oh well. He's a pretty cool guy, we've got a lot in common. And he actually remembered my birthday... wow...
