Well... I actually have something to write about besides which couples I like and why I like them. (that'll come later)

Anyway, my good friend, Lady Cosmos, has talked me into reading a boys' love manga with as yet no boys' love in it. What's the point, you may ask. Well... there *will* be some boy loving, right? Eventually.

The point is that they all wear funky costumes and look really cute! Hehehe... gotta love the puffy stripes shorts. My god, those things look silly! I can't believe people can wear them. Actually, I can't believe people can look at them and not laugh.

No offense to Alex. I love Alex. He's adorable and a sweetie. But... the shorts... good god, those shorts are a fashion disaster all on their own.

Anyway...

The manga is Apocripha/0, which is also a game. Two princes duke it out for the throne in some kind of contest that I don't really understand. I personally don't care who wins, as long as Alex and Sapphirus hook up. Those two are cuuuute! Sapphi has Trowa-hair. Hehe... gotta love it. And it's purple! Dude! It's even *better* than Trowa-hair! Except it doesn't have the sheer *volume* Trowa's hair has. Ah well.

Platina, the prince who's all cool and almost evil, looks like a very pretty girl. Alex, the prince who's all cute and doesn't know what he's doing, is one of the most adorable things on two legs. Would you believe Alex is the older twin? I find this odd. Oh well, it probably doesn't matter... but I actually even find it odd that they're twins. Alex looks much, much younger.

Ah well.

The advisors are obviously smitten with their respective princes. "NO! No one must touch Alex-sama!" Yeah, ok there, Sapphi. No one is going to try anything, because they all know by now that you'd go rabid and kill them. And Jade is just creepy, but I suppose that's cute... in a way...

Damnit! I want some boy loving! Why do these things take so long? Geez!

Argh.

Hehe... I have an X music video to the song I'm listening to. Mmm... X... that's a good show.

I should go watch some of that.

Hehe... I had to update again for today! Because... guess what? Guess what guess what GUESS WHAT?

Yay! Time to celebrate! As I dance around the house in joy...

Anyway... yeah! I am ecstatic right now! Ken and Omi and cuddly cuteness! Woo hoo! What could possibly be better? I even got a couple of kisses in there! Hehehehe... yay! Much cuteness!

Okay, okay, I know anyone who might read this will be waiting for the point, right? Well... anyway. Both doujins are by the same circle, or artist. I'm not sure which is the right term. One is called 'Snow White' and the other is 'Winter, again'.

First, 'Snow White'. Absolutely *gorgeous*. I love the artwork. Of course, I love all the artwork, since I believe both doujins are done by the same person. I gather that this is a Christmas story. (well, duh, it says 'Merry Christmas' in there) It looks like Omi and Ken have a fight and then Ken comes over to Omi's place and they make up. Then they go out to stargaze and it starts snowing. Ken gives Omi some nice presents, and they cuddle a bit and are about to kiss when the story ends. Oh well.

Then there's a second little story where Ken and Omi are playing video games and - I think - waiting for the new year. Omi wins and gloats, and Ken gets a little miffed. They laugh some, snuggle a bit... it looks like Ken's getting a bit fresh - but Omi doesn't put up with that. Very cute. I couldn't stop grinning while looking at it.

The second doujin, 'Winter, again'. Actually, this one is two stories, one about Omi's birthday, and one about Ken's. There's a little clip with the seiyuu (sp?) in between the two. Anyway... 'Winter, again' is about Omi's birthday, and I think he's telling Ken that his birthday will be on the 28th. (probably because there is no 29th that year) Then on the 27th in the evening, Ken gives him a big teddy bear. I don't know why it's on the 27th, but that's the date it says. Omi cries a bit - I'm not sure why, but Ken hugs him and then they cuddle for a while and kiss. Very sweet.

Second story, 'Love Winter', is Ken's birthday. Omi shows up at Ken's door with a little mini-teddy for a present. Ken seems surprised, but he hugs Omi (a little too tight, maybe?) and appears to invite him in for the night. They're both in their pajamas in the next panel, so I just assume that he invited him. Apparently Omi has a little too much to drink and gets sleepy, so Ken tucks him into bed. (awwwww) They snuggle in and Ken leans down to give Omi a kiss. Cute!

Anyway, I am happy. Very, very happy. This just made my whole day. I think I might have to take these with me to work so I can drool over them if I have spare time.
