(no subject)

I have to work today, but that's no big deal. I worked yesterday in the morning, too. It wasn't too bad. The best part about working the morning is that you don't have to close the store.

I have to work the morning shift at a different McCleaner's on Saturday June 14. That means I'll have to be there at 7:30am. Icky. But I guess it's money. I'll survive.

And that'll mean my Saturday evening will be free!

I'm still working on the prologue. Would you believe it's fifteen pages long. Geez... I knew it was going to be a decent size, considering it has to show how they get into their present situation, but I never thought it'd be *this* long.

And no yaoi. I'm so proud of myself... There aren't even yaoi hintings. I'm sure some people will think there are, but there aren't. Matt and Tai going off together to explore is not a yaoi hint. Joe bandaging Izzy's hand is not a yaoi hint. Matt replying sarcastically to Joe's complaining is certainly not a yaoi hint, and Tai being concerned about Izzy's well-being isn't a yaoi hint, either.

The yaoi will come in chapter one, when they're all six years older. And I'm almost positive it'll be first person. The prologue is third person - but I did it that way with the intention of separating it from the rest of the fic.

I like first person.

This is going to be a great fic. I'm totally psyched about it.
