I have finished the prologue for my new AU fic. I think I'm going to call it 'Suspended Reality'. It's kind of a corny title, but I'm horrible with titles, and I suppose this one makes enough sense so that I can get away with it.

And the most annoying thing in the world is seeing a fic that says 'Untitled for Now' or something like that. That just shows bad planning on the writer's part. If your fic doesn't have a title yet, you should wait until it does before putting it up as a serious piece of writing.

Hehe... pet peeves. Aren't they great to hear about?

Anyway, the prologue turned out to be nineteen pages long. Wow. That is one long prologue - at least, for me it is. My prologues are usually only five to seven pages - ten at the most.

But I suppose this one did have to cover quite a bit.

Today, I will be getting to work on part one. Excellent! I am looking forward to it very much. I'm also not posting the prologue until I have some substantial work done on the fic itself. It's okay with three-part fics like Simple, but not with big long AUs like this one's going to be.

Other than that, the psycho lady who was in the laundromat until twenty after nine last time and told me to fuck off when I said she had to leave came back tonight. Goodie. I didn't feel like being shouted at, so I let her do whatever she wanted, wrote down my time, and got out of there as soon as possible after she left. She was there until twenty after nine again, but at least I didn't go home all upset.

She is definitely not worth it.

Anyway, it was better not to argue, because I wouldn't have been in a writing mood last night otherwise, and then the prologue might not have been done this morning.

So it's all good.
