(no subject)

I didn't get much writing done yesterday, except in a couple of one-shots I'm working on. I blame the fact that my tapes aren't here yet. I can't seem to concentrate properly.

In other news, this song is awesome. I got it from Sugah, who's watching the series. It's so... haunting, I don't know. It's good.

I worked last night. It was pretty boring - there was no one in the laundromat from about six o'clock on. I expected people to come in later, so I started cleaning in there early. That resulted in me being finished way before I needed to be. But I prefer that to being insanely busy, so I'm definitely not complaining.

I watched some of the japanese digimon clips I have downloaded - almost all of which are from season two, since no one bothered to make any for season one. (darn them) However, there was an amusing scene with Koushiro trying to communicate with the Chinese Chosen Children. I actually understood some of what he was saying, but speaking a mix of japanese and really badly pronounced english probably isn't going to help him any.

Naturally enough, that scene was totally translated differently in the dub - they had to have everyone speak english there.

I ordered a couple of japanese tapes from Megchan. Couldn't resist. One was season one - it should have that cut scene where the kids are hitchhiking and some girl tries to pick up Yamato. I'm looking forward to that. The other was season two, and I just got it because of that scene at the end of the episode where Hikari was left in the digital world on her own.

I want to see it in japanese...

Anyway, they were cheap, so it's all good. I just got my paycheck last night, and it's more than I expected, so I feel I can afford it.
