(no subject)

Well, I had a great trip yesterday... I got the last two volumes of Angelic Layer! I didn't even know they'd licensed that manga. Of course, I've already finished reading them. They were pretty good. I can see how the manga could be considered a shounen manga, actually...

Anyway, they're great, and they were definitely worth the trip. It was pretty hot out, though, so we ended up getting tired and coming back around five or so.

But it was a pretty good day.

I also watched the last two episodes on my japanese season one tape. The Koushiro ep was great! I guess I can kinda see why they cut that little scene out at the end... can't have kids almost getting hit with darts on american television. Bah.

The following episode was nothing special, but it was interesting to watch in japanese anyway.

Now I want more.

But... hopefully I still have my DVDs coming one day, so I might as well wait.

Other than that, I got to working on No Such Thing for a bit. So far, it's fun to write and hopefully it'll be amusing. More than anything else, I like to hear that I've made someone laugh.

So here's hoping this fic will be a success.
