Aug. 28th, 2003 10:16 amV, I know you probably won't be reading this until some time after it's over, but I'm wishing you the best this morning. Hope the surgery goes well! Hopefully I'll talk to you today if you get a chance to call me and let me know what's up.
Anyway, last night I spent hanging out with V, Jo, and Adam. I brought Jer along because we originally had plans that night. We had dinner and hung out together at his place for a while, then headed over to spend time with V during her last sleepless night before her surgery.
It was a fun evening, at least. Lots of interesting conversation.
Other than that, yesterday was more or less uneventful. I did manage to get some work done on my new fanfic. Hopefully that'll turn out nicely - I like how's it's going so far.
Excellent.
My sister also got home from firefighting at about four-thirty last night. She showed my mother and me some pictures of the fire where she was at... it looked a lot like the fire here, only you could see more of it. I'll try and get some of those scanned and share them with you guys.
She was actually one of only five females in over two hundred firefighters. There's a picture of her standing with two guys on either side, and it makes her look small in the middle. My sisters are all pretty skinny, and the guys she was standing with were tall and bulky.
It's a cute picture, though.
