(no subject)

I went downtown with V during our three-hour lunch break yesterday. It's the first time we've been able to do that, since normally I have only a two-hour break. It was kind of fun... here's hoping maybe one of my semenars is cancelled and we can do it again some time.

One of the places we visited was the local comic store, and it turns out that our town actually has an anime club. With lots of people in it. I might even join.

I also ran into Sarah there, and talked her into coming with me to one of the meetings - just to check it out and see what kind of things they do and what people are involved and all.

Maybe I'll make some new friends. You never know.

Other than that... I've watched up and including episode 11 of the Hikaru no Go anime, and I have up to 20 downloaded. It's not as good as the manga, but it's still pretty good.

Also... I don't want to really say much, since I don't know if this will work out or not yet... but I *do* have about four pages of HikaGo fanfic written.

We'll see how that comes along, I guess. So far, I'm reasonably satisfied with how it's going.
