Exclusive Insanity

I finally got started on NaNoWriMo! It's fanfiction now... ehehe... but at least I've gotten going. Almost 3,000 words for yesterday, and I'm hoping to get at least 2,000 in today!

If anyone is curious, it's a Hunter X Hunter fanfiction, will have all four main characters, and I'll be posting it on the GJ community Walking in Twilight, where Karasu, Rae, Lira, and I post our NaNo stuff. My story's called Chasing Legends (wow, I actually have a title up front), and I'll be also putting it into my memories for my own GJ here.

I'm all excited now!

In other news, school is evil. I was given the first of two final projects in the Internet/Intranet course, which I partially don't understand but I'll probably get what I do understand done and then go see the prof. We're going to get the second final project next week, so we can work on both at once. Whee...

Ah well, whatever. I was browsing through the Hunter X Hunter NexGear forums, and someone was reposting a fake translated page that some other person had used a while ago to scare the shit out of people. I think it would've freaked me out too. Oh my god, they killed Killua!!!

It's easy to take it in stride when you know it's a fake, though.

I decided I needed a Shalnark icon. Look at Shalnark's funky pants!

I don't like the Ryodan as a whole, but I like Shalnark, because he has funky pants and is kinda cute for a geeky evil dude with a cell phone that can control people.

So much love for Hunter X Hunter characters and all their quirkiness.

I went virtual trick-or-trating. Made me feel a little better. Yay!

Even if you're a little familiar - if you've seen pictures of him or something - I'd be glad to hear opinions.

I think I might've found a wig that would need minimal styling to be just about right - but it's late and I'm not sure, and I'm planning on looking at it again in the morning when I'm not tired and sort of half focussed on my report still.

Why is it suddenly getting cold out? I know it's fall, but really. It's usually still warm around this time of year. Hell, it was warm yesterday!

Just in time for the Welcome Back Barbeque. Hah, fun times.

There will still be free food, though. Free food is good. And I work at BC Network afterwards, which is good because I like that place but bad because it means stress because I still worry that I'll mess it up somehow.

Ah well. I will do my best. No one can ask more of me than that.

Started another Hunter X Hunter ficlet. I think I actually will post this one for sure, but only if it ends up being finished and turns out the way I want it to. At least it'll have a clear beginning and ending.

Plus, I think it's fun.

I guess we'll see how it goes.

Also, writing random drabblets in response to requests here. They're supposed to be one or two lines, and I suppose I might do one or two liners for later requests, but so far they've all been a couple paragraphs at least. Some are crack pairings, because Karasu is evil.

Make me an icon. (Or get someone else to make it for you, I'm not picky.) It can be just a cropped picture or a simple line of black text on a white background. However, what I'm looking for is an icon that you really, really think I should have or use. Something that you feel typifies me. Soemthing you feel would make an appropriate default icon. Show me what you think of me and/or my journal.

I can't guarantee that I'll use any or all icons, but I definitely want to see what anyone who decides to play along comes up with!
